Here is the timelapse video of the setup on the morning of December 8th, 2012. We had 5 photography studios up and running all day thanks to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. Open Door Ministries was incredibly generous in the space they provided for the event. ProDPI also provided an amazing set of prints for each of our guests. Thanks again to everyone who helped make this such a special day!

Final Denver Help-Portrait 2012 Volunteer Meetings
Hi Everyone! We’re less than 2 weeks away from our December 8th event at Open Door Ministries!
Anyone who hasn’t stepped forward to volunteer for the Help-Portrait event, please do so now if you still wish to participate. We need a full count of volunteers so that we can make sure all roles are completely filled and we can start printing name tags for all of the volunteers.
We are having a last call meetup for new volunteers this Friday (Nov 30th) 6:00pm and Saturday(Dec 1st) at 10:00am, at the Starbucks located in the Denver REI at 15th & Platte Sts. Anyone who has already attended one of the previous meetups is already accounted for and does not have to attend, but are more than welcome to come. If you have not attended one of the meetups yet, please check in with us by sending an email to us at volunteer@cosmiles.org AND attending the meeting on Friday or Saturday.
Also, due to a scheduling conflict, we will not be able to have the workflow meetings for the photographers and editors as previously planned. I’ll be sending out an email to the photographers and editors by the 1st with full coverage on the day of workflow and gear checklists for both photographers and editors, so please make sure to check your email for that information.

The last Call for Volunteer meetings are quickly approaching on November 13th (6:30pm), and 15th(6:30pm), all at REI Starbucks in Denver. If you have not attended any of the previous meetings, you must attend in order to attend the December 8th Denver Help-Portrait Event as a Volunteer.
If you came in September or October, you do not need to come in November, but you are welcome to come again if you’d like.
